Merry Christmas

As the year winds down we’d like to wish our wonderful arts community a very Merry Christmas and a creative, joy-filled New Year.

2025 has been a big, bright year for Arts Mansfield — one full of connection, creativity and community spirit. Thanks to our artists, audiences, volunteers, sponsors and partners, we’ve shared exhibitions, events and conversations that reminded us just how strong and generous our local arts scene is.

A few 2025 highlights

This year saw the much-loved Bald Archy Prize Exhibition return to Mansfield, bringing humour, insight and packed rooms — along with school visits, group bookings and plenty of lively debate.

Our Postcards Exhibition once again delivered its trademark energy and excitement, proving that small works can make a big impact.

We also continued to celebrate excellence in clay through the Klytie Pate Ceramics Award, supporting and showcasing outstanding ceramic practice and honouring a much-loved legacy within our region.

Across the year, Arts Mansfield events, exhibitions and studio activities continued to bring people together — artists and audiences alike — in ways that inspire, challenge and delight.

Looking ahead to 2026

Next year is already shaping up to be an exciting one. We’re especially looking forward to the return of the Three Faces Portrait Prize, inviting artists to capture the stories, character and identity of people from our district.

The Bald Archy Exhibition will be back once again, promising another round of sharp wit, brilliant portraits and big conversations, and of course, Postcards will return — ready to fill the walls and spark some friendly bidding wars.

Alongside these flagship events, we’ll continue to support artists at every stage, foster creative opportunities across the Shire, and build on the strong foundations laid this year.
