Arts Mansfield AGM 2024/25 – President’s Report Highlights

A huge year for Arts Mansfield! At our AGM on 27 October, President Emma McPherson reflected on a vibrant 2024/25 packed with creative growth, collaboration, and community connection.


Highlights

• MACS continued to thrive with exhibitions, workshops and Social Sundays bringing artists together.

• The Fringe by Fleur Schell, our 2023 Klytie Pate People’s Choice, gifted to the community and is on permanent display at the Mansfield Library.

• Youth Encouragement Award – congratulations to Emily Doig, recipient of the $500 creative grant.

• Launch of the ARTY Awards, celebrating young talent across the Shire.

• Postcards, PhotoFocus, and MOST all enjoyed great success, while we farewelled Median to Rare with thanks to Life Member Liz Bannister.

• The return of the Bald Archy Prize drew strong crowds and school visits – plus a lively “Dinner with Brian”!

• A refreshed website and new strategic plan have set the stage for an exciting future.


Congratulations to Gill Belle, honoured with Life Membership for her outstanding contribution to Arts Mansfield over many years.


Thank you to our volunteers, sponsors and partners for making 2024/25 such a success — here’s to another year of creativity and community!
