The Biennial Klytie Pate Award for Ceramics is a national prize, open to all ceramicists in Australia and New Zealand who are experienced in the craft. This prestigious award recognises the creative legacy of artisan Klytie Pate and pays homage to her skill and determination.

About the event
Arts Mansfield will host the next Klytie Pate Ceramics Award and Exhibition from 19 September to 6 October 2025, featuring ceramic artists and designers across Australia and New Zealand. The awards are open to professional artists who have produced works within the last 2 years (since the previous Klytie Pate Award in 2023).
Arts Mansfield is delighted to announce that entries for the 2025 Klytie Pate Ceramics Award open on 1 May 2025.
This award, now in its fifth year and established by her godson Dr Will Twycross, honours the legacy of one of Australia’s most influential ceramicists, Klytie Pate.
Works from Klytie Pate Ceramics Award 2025 Finalists will be exhibited in Mansfield, Victoria, September 20 – October 5, in the Bank Room at MACE, 145-147 High Street.
